eine Brettchenweberei.../a tablet-woven border

Das Muster ist eine Abwandlung der bekannten Bathilde- Borte (frühmittelalterlicher Grabfund aus Frankreich), in der Mitte gespiegelt und statt in 2-Loch- in Sulawesitechnik. Die Borte ist 1,80m lang und 2,8 cm breit. Das Garn ist die übliche Häkelbaumwolle Stärke 10.
Aber denkt nicht, dass der Brettchenwebrahmen jetzt leer wäre :=) Da ist schon wieder die nächste Borte drauf.
 
The pattern is an adaption of the well-known Border of St. Bathild (a finding from the early middle ages in France), mirrored in the middle and in Sulawesi technique instead of pebble weave. The border is 180cms long and 2,8 cms wide. The yarn is, as usual, crochet thread no 10. But don't you think my tablet loom is empty now :) it's already occupied by the next border.
